You've seen the crews on MTV show off their skills every week as they battle it out for the coveted title of America's Best Dance Crew. Now, it's your turn to compete. Every week, we'll be updating this page with different video challenges. Start uploading your videos and racking up votes because if you're in the lead, you could get your videos on-air!
America's Best Dancer Online
Upload your videos to the "America's Best Dancer Online" section of the competitions page on our website. Throughout the season, we'll be checking through your video clips in our search for dancers to feature. Whether you already have videos or decide to choreograph something specifically for this challenge, upload them to our site and show them to the world! You might be featured on air!
Copycat Challenge
Think you can mimic the moves seen on America's Best Dance Crew? Here's your chance. Every Thursday night, after the latest ABDC episode, check the competitions section of this website. We'll be posting snippets from the crews' performances for you to copycat. Upload video clips of you or your crew performing these moves and you might see them featured alongside the crews on future airings of that episode!
Instructions on Uploading Videos to Competitions
Want to enter these challenges? Here's how:
1. Go to the competitions page on our website and determine which competition you would like to enter.
2. If the video you want to submit is already on your profile, go to step 3. If not, click on the "Submit Video" button for the competition and upload a video. Make sure that the dance is categorized as "Hip Hop" for type and style.
3. In order to submit a video from your profile to a competition, go to edit profile, and click on the "competitions" tab in your video library at the bottom of the page. Your video needs to be categorized as "Hip Hop" under type and style in order to show up on the competitions page. If it is not currently categorized as "hip hop" please fill out the contact us form so we can help you change it.
4. Find the competition that you want to submit your video to and click on "enter".
5. To be safe, go back to the competitions page and check to see if your video has been submitted. Good luck!
